InfraCo Asia's management team and Board attend a range of infrastructure, energy, investment and general business forums that complement their work and presence developing high-risk, early-stage, sustainable infrastructure projects in South and South East Asia. Upcoming events

  • From 20-21 March 2018, IJGlobal's 4th Annual Asia Pacific Energy & Infrastructure Finance Forum will take place the The Westin Singapore. Allard Nooy will take part in two sessions on 21 March: 'The Road Ahead: Policies and Strategies to Mobilise the Capital for Energy and Infrastructure Finance in Asia Pacific,' and 'PPPs in Asia's Energy and Infrastructure: Future Trends'. 
  • On 10-11 April 2018, Power & Electricity World Vietnam will be held at the GEM Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. InfraCo Asia CEO, Allard Nooy; and InfraCo Asia Director of Business Development, Prabaljit Sarkar; will both present at the event.

2017

  • 1 December 2017: Allard Nooy participated in the EY Asia-Pacific Energy Insights Club, held at the Tower Club in Singapore. He took part in a debate on the 'Future Energy Ecosystem'. 
  • 23 November 2017: The Asian Legal Business SE Asia Project Finance Conference was held in Singapore. Jeremy Saw, InfraCo Asia General Counsel participated in a panel discussion on 'Tapping Alternative Sources of Liquidity'.  
  • 21 November 2017: The Solar and Off-Grid Renewables Southeast Asia event took place in Bangkok. InfraCo Asia was represented by two speakers at the event: Allard Nooy presented on 'The Transition and Transferral of International Best Practice to the ASEAN Market,' and Prabaljit Sarkar shared thoughts on 'Prospects and the Projections for Vietnam's Solar Market'. 
  • 14 November 2017: The Infrastructure Investor Hong Kong Summit 2017 was held in Hong Kong. Allard Nooy will spoke about infrastructure investment opportunities, risks, and challenges relating to the One Belt, One Road Initiative.
  • 25 October 2017: Allard Nooy spoke on a panel discussion, 'Energy Roadmap in Asia: What Will Be the Impact of Clean Energy on the Region's Energy Market' at the Financial Summit of the Asia Clean Energy Summit 2017, held at Singapore's Marina Bay Sands. 
  • 12 October 2017: At TXF Asia 2017: Export, Agency, and Project Finance, Allard Nooy presented on 'Making Non-Power Projects Bankable'. The event was held at Singapore's W Hotel. 
  • 10 October 2017: At Power & Electricity World Vietnam, held in Hanoi, InfraCo Asia's Director of Business Development, Prabaljit Sarkar, presented on the topic of 'a Realistic Energy Mix for a Forward-Looking Vietnam'. 
  • 28 September 2017: InfraCo Asia's Director of Business Development, Prabaljit Sarkar, presented on 'How to Attract Finance for Each Phase of your PV Project in Asia' at Unlocking Solar Capital Asia, held in Singapore. 
  • 26 September 2017: International Enterprise Singapore held the Asia-Singapore Infrastructure Roundtable at Singapore's Marina Bay Sands. Allard Nooy moderated a session on 'Distributed Solutions in Asia'. 
  • 7 September 2017: Allard Nooy spoke at IJGlobal's 2nd Annual Philippines Energy and Infrastructure Finance Forum, held in Manila. He presented about ''Desired Financing Strategies for Energy and Infrastructure Deals'. 
  • 4 September 2017: Allard Nooy spoke at the Global Infrastructure Cooperation Conference, which took place at Seoul's InterContinental Hotel. He presented on the topic of 'Significant Demand for Infrastructure and the Funding Gap in Asia'. 
  • 18 July 2017: Allard Nooy spoke on the topic of 'the rise of renewable energy in South East Asia' as a panellist at the InfraAsia Infrastructure Investors Forum (IIF): Asia, held at Singapore's Westin Hotel.
  • 12 July 2017: Allard Nooy spoke at the 2nd Philippine Hydropower Summit and Exhibition, taking place in Manila, Philippines. He will join a panel discussion titled, 'Appetite for Financing Hydropower Projects: Increasing or Waning?
  • 4 July 2017: Allard Nooy spoke at the Solar and Storage Finance Asia Forum, joining a panel discussion called 'Equity Perspective' from 9.40am at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, SIngapore.
  • 23 June 2017: On 22 and 23 June, InfraCo Asia's Director of Business Development, Prabaljit Sarkar, presented on sustainable energy indicators and project financing at the Laos International Power Summit 2017
  • 15 June 2017: On Thursday 15 June, Allard Nooy spoke at Euromoney and IJGlobal's inaugural Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Asia Pacific 2017 in Singapore. Allard took part in a panel discussing “What does it take to get renewable energy deals done in Asia?”
  • 14 June 2017: On Wednesday 14 June, InfraCo Asia Portfolio Manager, Shalabh Singhania, spoke at the Argus Biomass Asia 2017 forum in Singapore.
  • 2 June 2017: On Friday 2 June, Allard Nooy, spoke at the China International Contractors Association forum in Macao, on 'Infrastructure Financial Innovation and the Role of Private Capital'.
  • 24 May 2017: On Wednesday 24 May, Allard Nooy delivered a keynote address at the Power & Electricity World Philippines 2017 conference.
  • 23 May 2017: On Tuesday 23 May, InfraCo Asia's Allard Nooy gave a presentation at the CommunicAsia 2017 Summit in Singapore. He moderated a panel which discussed 'Plugging in the Right Financing Model to Support City and Infrastructure'.
  • 20 April 2017: On Thursday 20 April, InfraCo Asia CEO, Allard Nooy, spoke at the Asia Power Forum, held at the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore. Allard spoke on the topic, 'Asia Power Deveopment Over the Next Decade'.
  • 30 March 2017: On Thursday 30 March, InfraCo Asia’s Director of Business Development, Prabaljit Sarkar presented a paper at the Energy Institute, KPMG Club House in Singapore. Prabaljit discussed the ‘Five Myths of Renewable Energy: Experience from South East Asia’.
  • 14 March 2017: On Tuesday 14 March, Allard Nooy spoke at 'Promoting PPPs in Waste Management Projects: A Joint APFF/APIP Dialogue with the Government of Indonesia'. He led an afternoon discussion focussed on financing at The Hermitage Hotel, Jakarta.
  • 9 March: On Thursday 9 March Allard Nooy took part as a member of the judging panel at the Asia Pacific Energy and Infrastructure Finance Forum in Singapore.

2016

  • 14 November 2016: On Monday 14 November, InfraCo Asia CEO Allard Nooy was a Keynote Speaker at InfraPro: Project Management and Delivery - a Marcus Evans conference held in Singapore. Allard spoke about key elements of risk management; financing infrastructure projects and successful implementation.
  • 8 November 2016: On Tuesday 8 November, InfraCo Asia's Legal and Compliance Manager, Jeremy Saw, spoke at the ALB SE Asia Project Finance Conference in Singapore. Jeremy presented A Legal Perspective on Project Finance in South East Asia.
  • 26 October 2016: On Wednesday 26 October 2016 Allard Nooy took part as a panel speaker in the PV Asia Financial Summit under the Asia Clean Energy Summit (ACES) which was held during the Singapore International Energy Week 2016 (SIEW). ACES was held from 25 - 27 October at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
  • 19 October 2016: On Wednesday 19 October 2016 at the Fairmount Hotel, Singapore, InfraCo Asia CEO Allard Nooy spoke at the 2016 PFI Financing Energy Projects in Asia Conference. Allard spoke as part of a panel discussion around Vietnam IPP projects.
  • 12 October 2016: From Wednesday 12 - Thursday 13 October 2016 the TXF Asia 2016 Export, Agency and Project Finance Conference took place in Hong Kong. Allard Nooy spoke on Day One during a session called 'Connecting the Region: Infrastructure Financing'.
  • 7 September 2016: On Wednesday 7 September 2016 at the Fairmont Makati, Manila, both InfraCo Asia's Chair and CEO took part in the IJ Global, Euromoney 2016 Philippines Energy and Infrastructure Finance Forum. CEO Allard Nooy moderated a panel: 'Exploring what developers and investors are looking for when bidding for infrastructure projects'. Chair John Walker spoke about 'Understanding what's required to meet the Philippines' PPP programme'. 
  • 2 August 2016: On Tuesday 2 August 2016, CEO Allard Nooy attended the Financial Times-First Metro Philippines Investment Summit, in Manila. The forum was themed Strategies to Drive Long-Term Growth.
  • 22 June 2016: Overcoming Asia's Electricity Crisis. Energy is an enabler and creator of GDP. According to the Asian Development Bank, Asia is suffering from a US$8 trillion infrastructure deficit, but a lack of “bankable” projects is delaying much needed investment in the sector.  At the Singapore British Chamber of Commerce event on 22 June 2016, Allard Nooy CEO InfraCo Asia joined a panel of leading industry experts, who represented stakeholders from finance/government and developers/operators. They discussed bankability and other constraints affecting investment in Asia’s power sector and how these can be and are being overcome.
  • 31 May - 3 June 2016: Nepal's inaugural Nepal Power Investment Summit 2016 drew hundreds of attendees. InfraCo Asia's Allard Nooy was a speaker, discussing Nepal's hydro potential as well as regulatory challenges.
  • 19 May 2016: InfraCo Asia CEO Allard Nooy addressed attendees and spoke as a panellist at Power and Electricity World 2016 in the Philippines.
  • 13-14 April 2016: The 19th Annual Power and Electricity World Asia 2016 forum took place at the Pullman Centre Park in Jakarta. InfraCo Asia CEO Allard Nooy was a keynote speaker at the event, and also chaired a panel discussion around stimulating greater private sector infrastructure investment in developing countries.
  • 3 March 2016: InfraCo Asia’s Chair John Walker and CEO Allard Nooy both participated as panelists during the Euromoney and IJGlobal Asia Pacific Energy & Infrastructure Finance Forum  in Singapore. The forum was a major success with an excellent line up of speakers and over 200 delegates in attendance throughout the day. IJ Global appreciated the knowledge and expertise of InfraCo Asia’s Chair and CEO which according to the forums organisers contributed significantly to the success of the overall event.
