Clive Turton was appointed Non-Executive Director of InfraCo Asia Development Pte. Ltd. on 1 September 2014.  Clive is currently Managing Director (Asia Pacific) APR Energy, a fast-track IPP energy provider based in Singapore.  Prior to this, Clive was Head of Corporate Finance and Head of the Utilities and Infrastructure sector for ING Bank in Asia, while based in Hong Kong and Singapore.  Clive is highly regarded as an infrastructure sector professional in Asia and possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience across project development, financing and capital transactions.
He has been involved in a large number of Asia’s major power transactions as advisor, financier or developer during his 20-year career, including some of Asia’s largest cross-border M&A transactions.  Clive was also involved in the privatisation of electricity networks and assets in a number of Asian geographies including Singapore, Philippines, Korea and Thailand.  At APR Energy, Clive has developed the business into one of Asia’s fastest growing power companies, including recent transactions in South East Asia and the Pacific and including one of Myanmar’s largest thermal power projects. Prior to APR Energy and ING Bank, Clive worked as Business Development Director for Mirant Asia Pacific and as a lawyer for Clayton Utz in Sydney and for Gide Loyrette Nouel in Paris.  He has Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degrees from the Australian National University.
