
The March edition of the Orient, the magazine of Singapore’s BritCham (the British Chamber of Commerce), includes a feature story penned by InfraCo Asia. The three-page spread focuses on InfraCo Asia’s model and its approach to bringing to life infrastructure projects that the private sector wouldn’t otherwise invest in. The sale of InfraCo Asia’s stake in the Pakistan Metro Wind and Gul Ahmed projects is highlighted, along with the Coc San hydro power project.

InfraCo Asia and its Ninh Thuan solar power project lead The Business Times’ story (under a subscription) about three companies’ new solar deals in the Asia region. InfraCo Asia’s CEO, Allard Nooy, is quoted: “Projects like Ninh Thuan solar create a ‘demonstration effect’ that serves as a beacon for future development”. A number of international and Singapore-based media outlets covered the news of InfraCo Asia’s new partnership with Sunseap International to form a joint venture for a solar project in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam. Once completed, the project is expected to be the country’s first large-scale solar project to go online.
