Jointly developed by Sunseap International and InfraCo Asia, the 168 MWp Ninh Thuan Solar Power Project will serve as one of the first utility-scale solar power projects in Vietnam.
InfraCo Asia has signed a Joint Investment and Development Agreement (JIDA) with Real Energy & Infrastructure Private Limited (REIL) for the development of a 12MW biomass project in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. This will be InfraCo Asia’s first biomass project in India, including a dedicated, sustainable energy plantation, with agricultural biomass sourced from local farmers through modern, mechanised methods and practices.
InfraCo Asia and Oxford Business Group (OBG) have signed an MOU that provides OBG readers and subscribers with an even greater depth and scope of coverage on infrastructure-related topics. By increasing the availability of information about infrastructure industry conditions and project opportunities, the partnership also supports InfraCo Asia’s aim of stimulating greater private sector investment in infrastructure in south and south east Asia.
By developing a portfolio of four hydropower projects totalling 100MW in power output, InfraCo Asia aims to open up future private sector investment in small hydropower projects in the KPK province, and lower electricity prices by reducing reliance on imported fuel.
After providing early-stage funding and development support, PIDG company InfraCo Asia has divested its stake in the Myanmar Hybrid Rice Seed project to its project partners, Singapore-based companies GSPI and SAT. InfraCo Asia, through its developer Infra Capital Myanmar – ReEx Pte. Ltd. (ICM), has been working with GSPI and SAT since early 2017 to develop the Myanmar Hybrid Rice Seed project, which is aimed at realising the potential for growth in Myanmar’s agriculture and rice industries.
